How to wear Mens Shooting Socks?

Ideally worn over your breeks or trousers,the sock should go up over the hem of the breeks and a garter should then be used to tie the sock in place just under the knee.  The cuff of the sock should then fold over covering the garter but leaving parts of it showing.
