HIKMICRO Neos Thermal Rifle Scope
Compact thermal scopes with sub-18mK sensitivity, Image Pro 3 and 30mm mounting.
- Sub-18mK thermal sensitivity
- Up to 1800m detection range
- 1000m LRF on NH25L and NH35L
- Lightweight 540–570g construction
HIKMICRO Neos Thermal Rifle Scope
The HIKMICRO Neos Thermal Rifle Scope combines compact 30mm-tube construction with sensitive thermal imaging, fast processing and practical field controls. Across the NE25, NH25L and NH35L, the range offers a choice of 256 × 192, 320 × 240 or 384 × 288 thermal sensors, all with sub-18mK NETD for detecting small temperature differences. That sensitivity helps retain useful thermal detail when conditions become difficult, including fog, rain and low-contrast scenes.
All three models use a 12µm VOx uncooled thermal sensor with a 50Hz refresh rate and a 25mm or 35mm F1.0 lens. The NE25 and NH25L use a 25mm lens with 3.5x–24.5x magnification, while the NH35L uses a 35mm lens with 3.2x–25.6x magnification. Detection range reaches 1200m on the two 25mm models and 1800m on the NH35L.
Display and Imaging
The large 0.49-inch AMOLED display gives the thermal image a clear viewing interface, while Image Pro 3 improves detail, contrast and noise reduction through image processing. Zoom Pro helps retain image quality during digital magnification, and Sync Pro provides fast image processing with low latency. HIKMICRO’s HSIS shutterless system also avoids the image freeze associated with conventional calibration shutters, supporting a smoother viewing experience.
Picture-in-Picture provides a magnified section of the thermal image while retaining the wider view. This can make it easier to examine a point of interest without losing the surrounding scene. Six colour palettes, including White Hot, Black Hot, Red Hot, Fusion, Red Monochrome and Green Monochrome, provide different ways to interpret thermal contrast.
The NH25L and NH35L add a built-in 1000m Class 1 laser rangefinder with ±1m accuracy and a minimum measuring distance of 10m. Their ballistic calculator can use entered ammunition data to calculate bullet drop and display the resulting point of impact, adding useful distance information without requiring a separate rangefinder.
Each model uses an internal rechargeable lithium battery alongside a replaceable rechargeable 18650 battery. The scopes also provide 64GB internal storage, video recording, snapshots, recoil-activated recording, hotspot connectivity, five zeroing profiles and HIKMICRO Sight App support. IP67 protection, a -30°C to +55°C operating range and resistance to 1000g/0.4ms recoil further suit the NEOS for demanding field conditions.
For a compact thermal rifle scope, the HIKMICRO Neos Thermal Rifle Scope offers a particularly well-balanced combination of sensitive imaging, fast processing and practical controls. The NE25 provides the lightest, simplest configuration, while the NH25L adds higher sensor resolution and LRF capability, and the NH35L combines 384 × 288 resolution with a 35mm lens and 1800m detection range.
HIKMICRO Neos Thermal Rifle Scope Key Features
- Sub-18mK NETD: Detects very small temperature differences for clearer thermal detail.
- Three thermal resolutions: Choose 256 × 192, 320 × 240 or 384 × 288 sensors.
- HSIS shutterless imaging: Reduces image interruption during thermal calibration.
- Image Pro 3: Improves image detail, contrast and noise reduction through processing.
- Zoom Pro and Sync Pro: Support clearer digital magnification and responsive thermal viewing.
- 1000m LRF on NH25L and NH35L: Measures distance with ±1m stated accuracy.
- Ballistic calculator on NH25L and NH35L: Calculates point of impact using entered ammunition data.
- Compact 30mm tube: Lightweight construction ranges from 540g to 570g across the three models.
The three HIKMICRO Neos Thermal Rifle Scope models share the same core approach but offer meaningful differences rather than simply cosmetic variations. The NE25 prioritises low weight and a straightforward thermal configuration, while the NH25L adds a 320 × 240 sensor, laser rangefinder and ballistic calculator. The NH35L moves to 384 × 288 resolution, a 35mm lens and 1800m detection range for applications where greater detection distance matters.
The HIKMICRO Neos Thermal Rifle Scope therefore gives you a choice of sensor resolution, lens configuration and ranging capability while retaining the same compact platform. Each model combines sub-18mK thermal sensitivity, HSIS shutterless imaging, Image Pro 3 and 30mm mounting in a lightweight package.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What is the difference between the NE25, NH25L and NH35L?
A: The models differ in sensor resolution, lens, detection range, LRF capability, weight and battery runtime.
Q: Which HIKMICRO Neos Thermal Rifle Scope has a laser rangefinder?
A: The NH25L and NH35L include an integrated 1000m laser rangefinder.
Q: What is the thermal detection range?
A: The NE25 and NH25L have a 1200m detection distance, while the NH35L reaches 1800m.
Q: What does NETD mean on a thermal scope?
A: NETD indicates the smallest temperature difference the sensor can detect. Lower values generally reveal finer thermal detail.
Q: What does HSIS shutterless technology do?
A: HSIS reduces image interruption during calibration, helping maintain a smoother thermal viewing experience.
Q: What is Image Pro 3?
A: Image Pro 3 uses image processing algorithms to improve thermal detail, contrast and noise reduction.
Q: Do the NH25L and NH35L have ballistic calculation?
A: Yes. Both models include a ballistic calculator that uses entered ammunition data to calculate point of impact.
Q: How long do the batteries last?
A: NE25 runs for 9.5 hours, NH25L for 9 hours and NH35L for 8 hours under stated test conditions.
Q: Can the HIKMICRO Neos Thermal Rifle Scope record video?
A: Yes. All three models support video recording, snapshots and recoil-activated recording.
Q: How much storage does the HIKMICRO Neos have?
A: Each model has 64GB of built-in eMMC storage for recorded media.
