Use the lens chart on this page for full guidance. Here’s a quick overview to help you get started:

Choosing Your Frame
- Carbon: Lightweight and stable.
- Copa Mundial (X6 only): Balanced and comfortable.
- Edge Acetate (X7 only): Flexible and stylish.
- Tread Frame: Secure fit for dynamic movement.
More information on the frames can be found on their respective pages, but for a quick guide, on the X6 platform choose from a lightweight carbon fixed frame or the ever so slightly heavier X6 Copa Mundial frame with its lens angle adjustment for that absolute perfect fit.
On the X7 platform you can have the X7 version of the same forked carbon frame or a rubberised version for extra grip with the the tread frame. Consider the edge acetate for a light single bar ideally suited for wearing under heavy ear defenders or ear defenders with a tight seal to the ear.

Lens selection and Compatibility
Q: Can I add more lenses later?
A: Yes. Additional Pilla lenses for your set can be purchased at any time from our lens pages at the standard rate.
Q: Should I buy three lenses or four?
A: Buying four lenses gives the best value, but only if you use them. For most people, three lenses is a good starting point with options to buy further lenses for more specialist scenarios down the line.
Q: Which lens should I buy?
A: If this is your first set, consider buying a yellow, an orange and a purple. For most people this will give a good coverage of general use cases with the option to pick up extra lenses for specific use cases later. Alternatively, consider a dark, mid and light lens.
Q: Are all lenses interchangeable?
A: Lenses are platform-specific. X6 lenses fit X6 frames; X7 lenses fit X7 frames.
Q: What if I’m unsure which lenses to select?

Q: Does eye colour affect lens choice?
A: Yes. Shooters with lighter eye colours are often more sensitive to bright light and may prefer darker lenses. Those with darker eye colours are usually less light-sensitive and can benefit from lighter lenses that let in more light.

A: We ship to UK mainland with Royal Mail Tracked 24, fully tracked for peace of mind. You can also choose Special Next Day Delivery at checkout. For international orders, we use UPS with full tracking.
